How can I advertise my business for free?

Hi there. I just joined here so first, hello.

Question—does anyone know if there's a spot on this forum where I can post about a business opportunity for free? Seems like everything has a price tag these days, and free advertising is almost a myth. Would love any pointers. Thanks a bunch! Patty

Absolutely not, just exploring some non-intrusive (cheaper!) ways to share a business opportunity that might benefit the community here. Back in the day, platforms like MySpace and similar forums used to offer spaces where you could share updates or promote small business activities without a cost. I was wondering if there's something akin to that here, or anywhere else you might recommend. Alot us do not have any budget for such things. Thanks!

Bear in mind (as I'm sure you know)...Myspace was over 20 years ago.

There are still many ways to share your opportunity for free. Forum signatures is one (I am setting up the ability for that now on this forum), commenting on blog posts (still can work but not as well as it used to)...and the most obvious, SEO.

I'm sure you also know that all these are a VERY SLOW means to grow a business.

What Kenneth said, there are very slow ways to get traffic for free. It's gotten tougher over the years.

Although, I know Kenneth has something coming that's essentially free traffic, but takes a lot of elbow grease. The rewards can be staggering though. ;)

Contrary to current opinion, SEO does still work. You just have to go at it with a different unlike before.
